Welcome! 2008 brought some major changes in my life including my marriage to Linda and a move across the country to Rhinebeck New York. This is a lovely community about one and one-half hours north on Manhattan with a wonderful history going back to the mid 1700's. The countryside is beautiful and there is little of the congestion found closer to Manhattan. I am still involved in business back in Washington state so I continue to travel back and forth regularly. My work continues to be shown at Ebb Tide Gallery in Gig Harbor, WA and I am looking for local galleries here in NY. My studio in Rhinebeck was recently completed and I will be starting some new work shortly. I concentrate mostly on thrown pottery but also do some hand built pieces such as wall hangings, tiles and mobiles. Much of my work is fired using the Raku technique but I also regularly use the electric kiln. For a description of these techniques please access the Techniques page. Information regarding the availability of my artwork can be found on the Links page. I hope you enjoy your visit.
