My studio is in my home in Gig Harbor.  I use a room with three large windows over my work area. There are some tasks that I must do outdoors since I need to avoid creating dust inside.  This is not the ideal situation but it is working for me at the level that I am working at right now.  I look forward to having a separate studio in the future.  My raku kiln is fired out on the deck and I bring the kiln indoors when it is cool to avoid having to deal with a wet kiln.  My electric kiln is in the garage.  It requires 220V AC power and a venting system which requires that it be placed more permanently. I am typically not in a position to have visitors at my studio.
